About CEN-Houston

Picture
Founded in March of 2009, the Clean Economy Network (CEN) is the largest national membership-based networking, educational, and advocacy organization shaping a new economy based on clean technology and innovation. Our members are professionals, entrepreneurs, investors, and researchers who connect to each other, learn information relevant to business and professional growth, and influence public policies that impact the clean economy.

The Houston chapter formed in late-2007 as the Houston chapter of the Renewable Energy Business Network (REBN).  Upon the national merger between CEN and REBN we became Clean Economy Network Houston.

Our Mission

The Clean Economy Network educates and engages individuals interested in playing an active role in building the clean economy and sharing their knowledge about the clean economy with others. Through outreach activities, programs, and events the Foundation works to identify, analyze and broadly disseminate business, technology and public policy best practices and innovative ideas that can support the future growth and development of clean economy sector as a whole.
